Let me introduce myself. I’m a Kubota Sub-compact Tractor. But please, call me “Kubi.”

I live at Meher Mount. And I’m part of the team that helps protect Meher Mount from wildfires.

California’s fire season is off to a fierce start. The Mountain Fire burned just over the horizon.

Ray (Meher’s Mount Caretaker Ray Johnston) and I are always on alert.

We often go out at dawn to mow the grasses and clear the brush that fuel wildfires.

We’re a good team, but we need your help. We can’t do it alone! 

Since I’m really a machine, I need regular, professional maintenance.  And, of course, fuel.

And my older, bigger sibling requires even more maintenance and more fuel. He does the really big clearance jobs. 

Ray looks after us both. But he relies on professionals who provide the tune-ups and repairs.

And yes, sometimes our parts break…. or get worn out… and they need to be replaced.
