Avatar Meher Baba Trust - Master Plan Engagement Meeting

PLANNING FOR MILLIONS OF FUTURE VISITORS TO MEHER BABA’S TOMB SHRINE

Tomb Shrine - Trust.jpg

Avatar Meher Baba has said that in the future Meherabad, India, would be the greatest place of world pilgrimage, and that His manifestation would be the greatest of all Avataric incarnations.

Naturally this means that the numbers of people wanting access to His Samadhi in Meherabad and places associated with Him, such as His home in Meherazad, will increase exponentially.

Many of His lovers have wondered how the Avatar Meher Baba Perpetual Public Charitable Trust (AMBPPCT), which holds the primary responsibility for the development of these sites, will respond to this demand.

The Trust has prepared a draft Master Plan which suggests what will happen to Meherabad, Meherazad, and Meher Nazar (Trust compound) when as many as a million people at a time are wanting to come to partake of the spiritual treasure that He has left for His lovers and humanity as a whole.

REVIEW & DISCUSSION OF THE MASTER PLAN - 10 MEETINGS AROUND THE WORLD

In keeping with a spirit of transparency and responsibility that the Meher Baba family shares for these sites, the Trust is conducting engagement meetings at 10 locations around the world to get feedback from the Meher Baba community.

These meetings are highly informative as well as interactive. They provide all participants with an in-depth picture of what the future of Meherabad, Meherazad, and Meher Nazar will hold, and offer to all the opportunity to reflect on the master plan and to offer comments and suggestions.

The feedback that is offered will be used by the Trust to finalize the plan. Time in the engagement meetings is split equally between the formal presentation of the Master Plan and time for participants to meet in small groups and present feedback.

A summary of the plan will also be posted on the Trust’s website, during the latter part of August, with an invitation to all to offer feedback directly.  However, as participants in these meetings to date have noted, there is no substitute for attending a live meeting where there will be charts, diagrams, and the chance to get questions addressed.
