Encounters of the Animal Kind - The Mountain Lion

On two occasions I saw a mountain lion at Meher Mount, both times in exactly the same place.
When we would go down the mountain from Meher Mount in the car, there is a little stretch of Sulphur Mountain Road between the main driveway and the second, back driveway.
The mountain lion must have had a trail that he followed which cut right across the road there.
Both times I saw him cross the road, going down the slope of Meher Mount from right to left, and both times it was around dusk. The second time, which was weeks after the first time, I saw that there was some type of small animal in his mouth as he walked.
There are few creatures as graceful as a mountain lion, walking their own path on their own land.
